ReplyDeleteHi, I'm visiting from Hallee the Homemaker ... I have not been able to get her Honey Oat Wheat Bread to work well for me (does not do well on the 2nd rise), but I now have a Zojirushi 2 lb bread maker and want to adapt the recipe to work ... she suggested I visit you and ask for help. Any words of wisdom?
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa Grace,
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by!! the only thing you have to be careful of when adapting a reg. bread recipe to a bread machine is the amount the recipe is for...so her original recipe makes 2-1 lb loaves approx I believe(it's been a while since I've made it) what i would do is, your machine should have come with a recipe book, id compare the two...so if your recipe book says only to use 3 cups of flour(which is probably around half of what hallee's recipe has) then only do half of her recipe. but if your recipe book says it can use 7 cups of flour that is closer to what she uses then it will be fine to use her recipe as is! id still keep an eye on it in the beginning so the dough has the right consistancy. I've had bread machine recipes that need more flour added...it should form a ball when it's kneading. if it looks really wet, or soft add in a 1 tbsp of flour at a time until the ball forms and it's slightly sticky to the touch. then you should be good to go! Hopefully this helps!
so sorry i'm just responding now! I've been a bit behind on my blog and reading this email!!

ReplyDeleteI needed this diet plan more than anything else; it’s good for health, doesn’t add many calories plus it’s not boring at all. As I provide Dissertation Writing Service In UK so most of my time is spent sitting on my table typing on the laptop which is why I can’t get to do exercise. This is why I have to control my diet to maintain my weight.
ReplyDeleteFor this week's Menu Plan Monday, we're focusing on easy, budget-friendly meals that are both delicious and simple to prepare. Start the week with a hearty vegetable soup, packed with seasonal veggies and paired with crusty bread. Tuesday calls for a classic spaghetti Bolognese, using ground turkey for a lighter twist.
